Real workplace situations

What would you like to make easier?

We start with a specific situation in which your colleagues would like to use French.

Contributing to a meeting and asking a question.

Find the words to ask a clear question and check what you have understood.

Explaining progress on a task or describing a problem.

Practise explaining a task, a result or an obstacle in your own words.

Clarifying a request and confirming the next steps.

Restate what has been agreed and clarify what happens next.

The Ohlala approach

Practise, receive feedback and try again.

Lessons combine language preparation with practical scenarios. Participants try out what they want to say, receive feedback from the teacher and revisit areas that need work.

Goals and activities are adapted to the agreed needs and the group’s French level.

French is at the heart of Ohlala. Your team’s needs shape the project.

  1. Your needs

Describe the situations your team would like to practise.

  2. The right group

Review the proposed group, French levels and availability.

  3. A clear proposal

Agree on a proposal setting out the content, schedule and arrangements.

A format to explore together

A small group with shared needs.

The proposed format brings together 4–6 colleagues with similar French levels in a group reserved for your company. Lessons take place online.

An initial course of 12 hours over 6 weeks can provide a starting point. The group, pace and schedule are confirmed after reviewing your project and checking availability.

Your questions

Do we need to have a group ready?

No. You can get in touch with an initial need and an approximate number of colleagues.

Do participants need the same French level?

Similar levels make group practice more useful. An initial assessment helps check whether the proposed group is suitable.

Can colleagues join from different locations?

Lessons are planned online. Schedules, time zones and tools need to work for everyone in the group.

Is the 12-hour, 6-week format mandatory?

It is a starting point for discussion. Reviewing your project helps identify a suitable format and check feasibility before anything is confirmed.

How do we receive a proposal?

Describe your needs in the form. A conversation will help clarify the goals and practical requirements.

The first step

Tell us about your project

Tell us what your team needs. A conversation will help establish whether the proposed format is suitable.

What happens next?A conversation to discuss goals, the group and possible time slots. An enquiry does not reserve any lessons.

Fields marked with an asterisk are required.

A few sentences are enough. You can include the approximate number of participants if you know it. Please do not include confidential information.
