I’m a native, certified French teacher and the founder of the online French school: Ohlala French Course.

How was OHLALA FRENCH COURSE created?
Because a few years ago, I was in the exact same situation as you! Well, not with French—it’s my native language—but with English. I thought I had a decent level of English, and then I decided to move abroad to an English-speaking country.

And that’s when reality hit hard!

Moving abroad pushed me completely out of my comfort zone, and I thought I would progress super fast just by living in an English-speaking country.

But
 when I spoke with someone, it was impossible to find my words, even though they were clearly there in my head.

I found myself completely stuck



stuck because of the fear of speaking a foreign language!

I became paralyzed by the idea of speaking a language other than my native one. I didn’t even dare to take the risk of speaking with other people anymore.

And you know what? The day I truly started to improve was the day I stopped being afraid of speaking a foreign language—afraid of making mistakes, afraid of sounding ridiculous.

And that’s exactly why I created Ohlala French Course

The birth of the OHLALA METHOD

My name is Manon, I am French and a certified French teacher. I am here to teach you how to speak real French, authentic French.

I am a "French 2.0 teacher" from the moment I decided to become a French teacher, my ambition has always been to teach French online. Passionate about online learning, I am constantly learning about new digital tools and interactive methods to be always at the top for my learners. I believe so much in e-learning that I have completed and passed my Master’s degree in French as a Foreign Language at distance and online.
